Steven Stranne focuses his practice on performing health policy research and providing regulatory, legislative and corporate counsel to health care corporations, manufacturers, associations, foundations, hospitals and health systems.
Dr. Stranne's practice includes the representation of medical manufacturers, suppliers, coalitions and associations on issues involving the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ("CMS"), the U.S. Congress, Medicare carriers, the Durable Medical Equipment Regional Carriers ("DMERCs") and the Statistical Analysis Durable Medical Equipment Regional Carriers ("SADMERC").
Dr. Stranne has experience working on issues involving chronic care, disease management, home infusion drug and nutrition therapy, medication adherence, pharmaceutical coverage/reimbursement, medical device coverage/reimbursement and the establishment of appropriate coding for medical services and products (including HCPCS codes). Dr. Stranne has co-authored a number of articles appearing in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he presents frequently on various health policy issues.
